Does anyone have any tricks to calculate a S/N ratio in empower

Thanks

You can make a customfield which does the trick for you.
You have different types of noise, depending on your needs and calculation.

Also, if I'm right, there is an implementation of the Pharmacopea requirements for S/N in Empower 2. So you don't have to make your own custom fields

Bart

The custom field formula is :
Height/Blank..(Baseline Noise*1000)
You can build in this formula in Empower:
S/N Ration = Height/(Baseline Noise x 1000)
You need the 1000 factor because your peak height is measured in uv while your baseline noise is measured in mv.

Regards!

The custom field formula is :
Height/Blank..(Baseline Noise*1000)
A blank injection should be labeled "Blank" in your sample set
