I am planning to purchase a Perkin Elmer TurboMatrix 350 Thermal Desorption system. Upon reviewing the Perkin Elmer brochure for the system, I am confused how the transfer line integrates with the system. From the diagram, it appears the transfer line goes into the back of the GC. I am planning to interface the perkin elmer TD with a Varian 3800 GC. How will I be connecting the desorber to the GC?

Perkin Elmer will have a solution and special transfer line for GCs that have no access through the back wall of the oven. Probably it will be through one of your conventional injector positions. From the beginning it was specified that customers for the TD ranges do not have to have Perkin Elmer GCs.
