I am using Empower. After I enter my samples into the sample queue and click run, a window pops up as usual for me to name my sample set. After I name it and choose a shutdown method I click OK and I get an error message: Database error; Unable to contine. Unable to store temporary sample set method. Please let me know how to correct the problem.

Could you please provide some additional information?
How is your configuration? Enterprise, stand alone, client?
Also, which software? Windows XP, Windows 2000?
For the moment it seems you haven't permission to write to some maps on the PC.

Check Database table space in Project properties.
If free space is about 0, increase Quota (if you're allowed, of course)
If not, search again

^ that's my first thought - Configure system, Projects, right click on yours to bring up the properties & kick the table space up some.
I wish all my Empower issues were as simple...

If you are correct, he/she should find a message in the message center saying something about the table spaces

I think this is only the case with admin rights. Or at least the right policies. If you are correct, he/she should find a message in the message center saying something about the table spaces

By default, message center is open to all who log on. Admins see all messages, other user types tend to see only their own messages.
If it's a table space error, you'll see something like this:
- - -Type - - Category - Application - -User - - Project - - - - - Message
783 Error General Processing Server XXXXXX CXXX Oracle Error ORA-01536: space quota exceeded for tablespace 'USER_DATA'
If it's a table space error, you'll see something like this:
- - -Type - - Category - Application - -User - - Project - - - - - Message
783 Error General Processing Server XXXXXX CXXX Oracle Error ORA-01536: space quota exceeded for tablespace 'USER_DATA'
Thanks,
DR
