Hello guys. I need an advice. I'm writing an internal POS on HPLC sequences. According to your opinion when it is best to postpone the entire sequence and when I can inject the missing vials?

Ffor example: if it locks on vial 2 I can re-start from vial 3?

In theory you can pause the sequence if it is covered by a SOP and you have a justifiable and scientific reason. In addition you should have evidence that;

1. If paused the previous result(s) is or is not invalid.

2. Previous system suitability is or is not valid.

3. Sample is stable for several hours or days.

4. Sequence can be renumbered and started.

5. Other...
