Can anyone tell me how to select mV settings for electrochemical detection? I'm working on a methyl transferase with a C18 column, isocratic system. Mobile phase is phosphate-acetonitrile-THF at pH6.2. Samples are patient EDTA blood.

What, exactly, are you trying to detect? And what, exactly, detector are you using (manufacturer, and model number)?

The mV setting (working potential) defines your detector selectivity. An optimized setting may discriminate interfering peaks.
The working potential depends on the component to be analyzed.
