Flushing with isopropyl alcohol, also known as 2-propanol or isopropanol.

Hope that helps :o)

Is it ok to flush the column with IPA? I always flush the LC system without column using flow rate 2.0 ml/min in 1 hours.

to syx_gf,

You certainly can flush columns with IPA, I do it routinely for some natural product work I do, lots of nasties held pretty tightly to my RP column. You will have to watch the back pressure carefully of course since the IPA viscosity is very much greater than the usual LC solvents, you won't be able to run a 2 mL/min flow rate through your column probably.
