Freeware data aquisition program?

Hi,
Sorry to bother you folks but I have serious problem - we just got second-hand AKTAprime (small "FPLC wannabe"
) but because my stupid mistake - without recorder or software! 
Getting a PC is not a problem but PrimeView (standard software for this system) costs way too much and new recorder even more. Does anybody know a freeware program that can acquire data by RS232 port and draw and save chromatograms (export option and event marking would be also great)?
