I am a student. I got several questions to be answer correctly.

The following evaluation comprises of simple examples of chromatographic problems, which may be encountered during routine HPLC analyses. In the time allocated, please provide two bulleted reasons for the problem indicated.

1. Erratic Baseline 2. Cycling Baseline(two type) 3. Noise Spikes On Baseline 4. No Peaks 5. Broad Peaks 6. Small Peaks 7.Fronting Peaks 8. Flat Topped Peaks, 9. Ghost Peaks
(More peaks than expected or simply peaks occurring without sample injection) 10. Fewer Peaks Than Expected 11. Negative Peaks 12. General Chromatography Problems: Incorrect Results (Qualitative/Quantitative).

Hahaha.

Do your own homework! :P

All of those issues are very common, and are addressed at length in many of the posts on this forum, and the referenced books/articles.

Good luck
