Hi
Does anyone has experience in both CDS, which you like better and why?
I work on Agilent 1100 with chemstation software, but lab would like to upgrade to some CDS.
Thanks a lot!

Unfortunatley you can't limit yourself to just two, see recent threads here and here.

Of the two you mention I've briefly used Empower and seen EZChrom, but not enough to make a reasoned comment. (plus as many people know here, I'm a die hard Chromeleon fan...)

Contact the vendors, they should help you to get a demo version to try for a while which can tell you an awfull lot.

Don't you want to consider Chromeleon?

This not an easy question it is dependent on what you need and how you feel most comortable. You really have to see both solutions . Contact your local agilent / waters salesman and ask for a demo. Both will give you a demonstration . Maybe not at your site, but at least at on of theirs.
Both have their advantage/disadvantages.
