Hi all,

Anyone familiar with the USP assay for Xylitol and other polyols. I am having some chromatography (peak shape, precision) issues and am wondering if anyone has had similar problems.

If you are not familiar with the assay it is to be performed using a rtx-1701 or similar column 30 meters x 0.25mmid x 0.25 um dF and is temperature programmed from 170-210.

thanks in advance

My guess would be the problem lies in your derivitization step.

best wishes,
