calculations for concentration of stock [August 17, 2004]

I prepare my stock at 10mg/10ml in a falcon tube. Now, if I pipette 1 ml of this stock from this falcon tube, does it mean that now I am having a concentration of 1 mg/ml?

1mg/ml and 10mg/10ml are same concentrations.So, in 1ml of the stock solution you have 1mg of the substance and the concentration is 10mg/1oml or 1mg/1ml, which is the same.
