Agilent FLD G1321B problems

Hello
The problems with Agilent FLD G1321B (HPLC 1200 series) appeared. In the error log it was shown, that there are problems with exitation and emission monochromators.
Is it possible to repair them without serviceman?

The other issue, occasionaly in LabAdvisor the button "convert to G1321A" was pressed. How to convert the system back to the original G1321B mode?

Is it possible to find service manual for Agilent FLD G1321B?

1.You can use Firmware update tool to convert back from G1321A to G1321B
2.Ex/Em monochromators problem (errors) should be diagnose by someone with expierience - you need to open detector and remove internal parts also run diagnostic tests. If you've never done that befor it is better to leave it for service (you can breake fragile parts and you will pay more for repair). I would say that if FLD will not pass initialization (monochromator errors) and you can hear scratching sound probably motor (or motors) need to be checked and/or replaced.

1. For downgrading device version you can also use Cold Start Option. You can find information in Forced Cold Start Settings chapter in G1321-90002 manual. Here is manual http://www.aimanalytical.com/Manuals/1100FLD-S.pdf
