Hello !
Do anyone know how to pilot the QDa detector (waters) using Empower 3 software. the manual guide doesnt provide enough information about how you can analyse your data on empower.

basically it's just like using a PDA detector in Empower (if in scanning mode (3D)) or if like any other 2D detector when SIR-Mode was used.

a) make sure the MS option is checked in the project properties!
b) select the data channel you want to process
b1) if 3D-data, enter a m/z ratio to derive the chromatogram
c) create the corresponding process method (check if it is of the "MS" type")

If you also have a PDA (or other detector connected) it's also possible to just evaluate the UV trace and use the MS-Index report group to also show the MS spectra of each peak detected in the "normal" chromatogram, without processing the MS traces
