GCMS-ATD

Hello anyone. Firstly, thanks for the attention.I would like to enquire regarding the following problem.
Do you have any idea regarding automated thermal desorption instrument attached to GCMS?? Can I request for some insight if you have any idea about this combination. I have an Agilent GCMS combined with a Perkin Elmer ATD instrument via back inlet volatile interface on Agilent GCMS.
I have this issue and its not a typical problem. I have the VI temperature set at 240degC and everything works fine. Then, one day, after venting down the system for some ion source cleaning and PM on the GCMS, it seems that I cant achieved back the back inlet pressure using the pre-set temperature of 240degC. I need to increase the temperature in order to achieve the required pressure. Up till now, I've increased the VI temperature to about 295degC to maintain the required pressure. There seems to be no leakage problem when I check the system using autotune evaluation.
Is there any insights that you can tell me as to why this problem occurs? How can I solve this issue once and for all? Increasing the VI temperature will not help as if this continues, the ferrule max temperature will be breached and the ferrule will decompose by then.
Hope you can give me some advice and thanks a lot for your attention!!
God bless~
