hi, my friends.
Now I am engaged in the analysis of azithromycin according to Ph.eur. the method in Ph.eur 5.5 is quite rigorous. It is said that EDQM has published the ph.eur 5.6 in June. So could somebody kindly offer my the new method? Thank you very much!

I don't think the hard copy has been released yet, and those with online access will probably be breaking their licences if they forward copies.

5.6 also not effective until 01 Jan 2007, so I suppose that assays conducted between now and then should be performed using the existing method. You probably should check the status before starting to use any new method in 5.6.

I wish harmonisation would address some of the cost issues associated with accessing current pharmacopoeias and their updates.
