Hi all,
I am just new to the Agilent ICP-MS 7500 and really want to become expert with this instrument. Can anyone help me with the cheat sheet or step by step to start the instrument with the tuning method.
I would really appreciate it. I moved to R&D and we want to start this old 7500 series working.

Does this one have Chemstation or Mass Hunter software?

I only have Mass Hunter on the 7700 and 7900 here. To start them up in the morning it usually asks if you want to run through the initial startup program when you light the plasma which will warm up the instrument then move to the tuning solution and run an autotune and a tune check.

You can skip these and do the tune manually. You click on the Batch tab of the interface and you can access the tune parameters there and do it manually.

I think the 7500 uses an older version of Mass Hunter so I am not certain of the exact details you will need to use. I will see though if I can find some screen shots to see how that program is setup.

Dear friends,

I won an Agilent ICP-MS 7500 in an auction. However, it didn´t come with the software. I contacted Agilent who said they don´t support this equipment anymore so they can´t help me with that.

That said, I would like to ask if anyone of you has the Chemstatio or Masshunter software compatible with this equipment. If so, could you please share or sell to me?
