TCD fuse 1.0A use, if using for 1.6A fuse, that it is fine?

Gas chromatography detector, TCD recomend use for 1.0A fuse, but i for useing 1.6A fuse do not it is fine?

Fuses are cheap. I would only risk using a higher amperage fuse as a temporary measure until I could get the correct one.

so high amperage fuse danger(instrument damage or risk).
