Varian GC cannot run in Chromeleon after run in Empower 3

Hi all,

I would like to ask why I cannot run sample in chromeleon.

1) Initially, I tried to run a sample both in chromeleon and empower 3. There is a result produce both in chromeleon and empower 3.

However, when I start another run in Chromeleon and Empower 3, the Chromeleon showed "Running"

While for the Empower showed to be running. And there is result produce in Empower 3.

2) I tried to switch off the e-stain of varian gc that connect to Empower. I still cannot run in chromeleon, in which showed "Running".

3) There is a fault44 showed in Chromeleon

4) While for the Empower 3, i start to run in empower, there is real-time panel immediately produce the result without showed "waiting for injection".

Could it be after i run the sample both in chromeleon and empower 3, the varian totally cannot connect back to chromeleon and only able to connect to empower 3?

I need to run sample in chromeleon. Please advise.

Sounds like the problem is with Chromeleon.
Is there a "ready to inject" cable preventing Chromeleon from collecting data?
Is the time from completion of one injection to the start of the next one too short for Chromeleon?

Have you looked up or asked a Thermo/Fisher/Dionex person what fault 44 means?

You may also get better answers if you mention the versions of data systems you're using and whether they're enterprise, single PC or somewhere in between.

PS - it's e-satin. (other Chromeleon users, please stop laughing now).
