I have been asked by our parent company to purchase an RRHT conversion kit for my Agilent 1100 HPLC. I have a few questions about this>
1. If we do purchase this, do we then lose the ability to run the HPLC's using traditional columns and flowrates/pressures.

2. I we convert back and forth between the two setups, how hard would it be, and does the instrument need to be requalified each and every time?

Where can I get more information about these things?

Thanks for your time.

Hi Chris,
does the instrument need to be requalified each and every time?
As long as you perform the initial qualification for each setup, you are covered. Take the KF system for instance, you don't need to requalify the system after you switch out reagent and generator electrode (with and without diaphram) after initial IOQ performed.
I hope this helps since I only know answer to numero 2
