Hi, I like operate the GC, 5890 Series II (FID) with the Computer and the Software Chemstation A10.01. But THAT´S NOT POSSIBLE.

PC: Windows 2000 profesional, SP 3, HPIB 82350B card,
GC: main board 03.01; Cable hp 10833B, Chemstation A10.01

I believe it is a configuration problem. I have verified the HPIB address for the GC (15) and the Autosampler (8) and that chemstation is configured correctly (For the HPIB 82350B card the IOLIBS sicl name is hp82341). I can recognizes the HPIB address.

But when I open the Chemstation A10.01 I became follow notice:
INJ 1 not found! Check that. INJ1 is´t correctly configured.

What can I do?
I need a new mainboard and the Kit HPIB RS232. They are used parts.

Please help me
Wilfredo

Did you also configure the 5890 autosampler as well (usually it has default address of 8), couldn't tell by your post? Also, when you configured your HPIB/GPIB board to hp82341 (that is correct), did you also change the "bus address" to 30? That's required, I have no idea why though, so maybe reinstall the board software through the IOlibs folder on the CD.

I recently had to use an A.09 CD to initialize a 82350 board even though I was using A.06 software, as A.07 didn't include 82350 and A.08 didn't initialize the board for some reason.
Dear Wilfredo
Try to install A.07.03 version of software. Everything is same with our problem. Last week we were face to face with same problem. we worked on it for a long time. Also we had some card problems. I think by installing this version, you will overcome the problem.
But when we wanted to use the autoinjector, there will be a new problem occurred. Autoinjector didn't give start command to GC. We solved it by using a remote cable between autoinjector and GC. (you can look it the manual for details).
