set column head pressure cant be achieved - GC-3800 VARIAN

please,help me, Varian GC cp-3800 , "not-ready'status always appear, because the set column head pressure cant be achieved by the instrument .
I checked for leaks and changed septum and liner,nothing happened. the same problem still exists.
what do you suggest
Welcome to the forum.

How did you check for leaks ?

Is there pressure in the carrier gas supply line to the GC, and is it high enough ?

What has changed since the instrument was last working correctly, what maintenance was done, was a column changed etc etc ?

What are the pressure and flow settings, and the settings for column dimensions in the method ? do the column dimensions match the column that is actually in the GC ?
