Agilent methanizer problem

Dear colleagues,
I have 7890A with FID and TCD for TOGA analysis (dissolved gases in transformer oil). Used for 3 years, but now CO2 dissapeared; CO also not good. Other gas components (ethane, ethylene, methane) are OK. Seems that methanizer (nickel catalyst) isn't working properly. Temperature and hydrogen flow is OK. Could it be methanizer catalyst is damaged? Is it possible to refill nickel catalyst?

You can replace the nickel catalyst. The Agilent part number is 5080-8751.

Dear Gasman,
Could you please check the part number for a methanizer catalyst?
The part number 5080-8751 is some kind of fittings, not the catalyst. Thank you in advance.

It would be permissible to contact your Agilent rep as well. Since you know that you can replace the catalyst, I would say a call to your Agilent rep. would get you to the right part very quickly.

You are correct on the part number. I do not know if it was a typo on my part or where I originally got he part number from. The correct part number is 5080-8761.
