SD, %RSD, CV, %CV [August 4, 2004]

What is the difference between those symbols?
Mr. Tom has explained in his 'Getting Started in HPLC" about:
RSD = SD/average
CV = %RSD = 100% x RSD
But USP told that RSD has % as the unit. It is same with %RSD? I do not understand.
