Shimadzu VP vs non-VP series

Hi everyone,

What are the differences between the Shimadzu VP and non-VP series?

The only difference I see (aside from VP being newer) is that VP has integrated GLP/GMP compliance features which, I personally don't care for.

With the exception of our autosampler (SIL-10A), everything in our HPLC system is VP series controlled via a SCL-10Avp and EZ Start 7.4

At the moment Im thinking of buying a oven - namely a CTO-10A or CTO-10AVP) but just wondering if the price differential is worth it.

I have a Shimadzu system consisting of SCL-10Avp , SPD-10Avp , LC-10ADvp and CTO-10AC , SIL-10A ( It is a mixed system ) and working perfectly .

Thnaks uzman I have the exact same setup. Thus far its working fine.

Still looking at getting a oven but deciding to go with a VP or non-Vp. Guess it doesn't really matter, I'll see what I can find. Thanks
