Does anyone know if Chromquest requires a dongle?

Not a dongle key , but it requires a licence code , otherwise it works on demo mode ( For Chromquest 4x)

Ours has a LPT-Dongle yes (guess it's 3.x). Otherwise just demo mode

Thanks for the feedback. But what is the draw back for demo mode? I have an surveyor FL plus and chromquest seems to be the only software that recognizes it.

I don't know about Chromquest in particular, but "demo" mode in most software means either that it only works with built-in ("canned") data or that you can't save anything.

Just try it and see what the limitations are.
