problems on GPIF (Goat placenta immunoregulatoary factor) ?

I am now engaging in the seperation of GPIF(Goat placenta immunoregulatoary factor)
from fresh sheep placenta.
I found from the net that it is a short peptide only 3800-5000Da.
But more information is unavailable.
I am now not aware of the pI(isoelectric point) of the peptide and not very sure whether it is only a kind of peptide or a complex.
Is the amino sequence available? Are there any previous successful such research activity?
I need more information on GPIF!!
If any one can help me or just give a clue, I will appreciate it deeply!
