Abundance normalization Mass profiler

Hi,
I would like to do abundance normalization for total ion intensity sum per sample. Is this possible through Mass profiler agilent software. It provides options to normalize the abundance without standards and with standards. When it says normalization without standards, does that mean it normalizes for total ion intensity (which i doubt?). Is there any other way of normalization for total ion intensity of all the samples?. Thanks in advance.
