GC software

Hi,

I am using an old chrompack machine. We are using the maestro software, on a very old computer (windows 3.1). I need to upgrade the computer, and I was wondering if anyone can recommend some software that is compatible with chrompack systems, or if anyone can tell me where to upgrade the maestro system.

If it is an old machine, eventually there are no control issues to consider.

I would check www.datalys.net, as they manufacture and distribute a quite competitvely price software, called Azur.

If you have an instrument control board and a ComMod with your Maestro system can do the following to upgrade:

1. Check the board is the type shown below.
2. Check if you can find a PC that still fits this board. If the PC needs to be new, you're only chances are an industrial PC with ISA slots since ISA slots are not offered anymore on desktop PCs
3. Purchase an upgrade to EZChrom from Agilent, this still supports your GC
