Shimadzu library transfer to AMDIS format

I am trying to transfer a Shimadzu library (.lib format) to AMDIS format to be used with library + RT search. I load the Shimadzu library but AMDIS cannot recognize the Shimadzu format. No library entry input is seen.

In addition, the AMDIS software seems not able to recognize Shimadzu data file format. I need to convert the file to Agilent data format to be recognized.

I would appreciate a lot if anyone could tell me how to solve the problems.

Hi,

and download any Xcalibur version. Install it, then execute Xcalibur.

The initial screen shows the Roadmap. Go to Tools menu and select Library Manager. There you have a tab with Convert Libraries.

On source select ICIS/GCQ/ITS 40 (*.lib, *.lbr). They should be identical with Shimadzu ones.

On target select NIST. Put them into the NISTMS\MSSEARCH\ with the name name of your choice, and Agilent should recognize them since it uses the MSSEARCH.
You can further convert them for AMDIS, if you like, with LIB2NIST converter that comes with NIST libraries. There you convert them from NIST format to .MSP format.
Then for the final step if you are not satisfied with the .MSP format you can convert them from .MSP to .MSL in AMDIS in the menu Library and submenu Library transfer.

I have the same problem: Need to convert a shimdzu .lib file to the AMDIS formate.
The link for downloading Xcalibur is not working anymore and Thermo wants money for it.
Is there any older free version or other freeware for converting libary files? I can only find Xcalibur sources, that do not seem to be really trustable...
