Hi,

I'm using CPSC-CH-C1001-09.3 method for determination of Phthalates. You can read the method here.

I take a successful chromatogram overlay. But DINP and DIDP peaks are fingerprint peaks and i dont want to see peaks like that. I want to see the peaks like the other nice peaks, more selectable.

What do you think about how to do that?

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to do that because the DINP and DIDP are not made from a specific alcohol like the others. You're seeing a distribution of materials because the alcohol part of the diesters are isomeric C9 and C10 alcohols. The only thing you could do is set your chromatography conditions so that they all coelute. By doing that, you'll likely make the BB, DBP, DEHP, and BBP coelute with each other. Probably not what you want.
