Reports from Chemstation Data Analysis printing incorrectly

Hi all,

We are having an issue with printing reports. I've attached an example. The reports are the same, the one on the left is from a new computer we've just set up data analysis on. As you can see, the font is an issue and is affecting the alignment of the page. The report on the right is from an older computer that we've had for years. How do we rectify the one on the left to look like the one on the right? I can't remember for the life of me and I've searched through a whole bunch of menus and options in data analysis.

Print your reports to PostScript printer. Alternatively find compatible and supported printer from Agilent documents.

Both of the computers are using the same model of printer. We had this issue before with one of our instruments and corrected it (without changing printers), but we can't remember how.

We have this issue when the print driver on the computer isn't correct. Some times that means it needs to be the correct "wrong" driver.

If your printer emulates PostScript then install PostScript driver and check if it solves report format. If not, install printer driver from the computer which prints correctly.

BTW - If I remember correctly once my printouts were correct when a Lj printer was connected through LPT, but when the same printer was connected through LAN printouts were unacceptable.
