Hi,
I'm looking for a related substances method for 6-aminohexanoic acid.
Can anyone provide some references?

your aminohexanoic acid and related impurities can be analyzed in mixed mode with Primesep 100 column similar to aminolevulinic acid. Retention time is controlled by the amount of ACN and concentration of the buffer. with pH you can controll elution too (canging ionization satete of your amino acids)You might need LC/MS or ELSD for better sensitivity as 6-AHA and impurities are not very UV active:
