Internal Calibrations

Hi

Can anyone point me in the right direction w.r.t. suitable internal calibrations for a GC-FID? I am now writing the SOP, and have to decide on a suitable calibration protocol. Links, advice etc. would all be much appreciated.

the original delivery SOP for determining the proper operation of a FID is quite useful for writing any procedure detailing a calibration. See your user's manual for details.
