Dear Friends,

Recently, I have to present a topic on " Standard Operating Procedure for tuning a quadrupole Mass Spectrometer".

Did anyone have such information about the "standard procedure" for tuning a "quadrupole" Mass Spectrometer" ?

Thanks for your help !!

You picked a difficult thing to present, because with modern GCMS systems tuning is an automated process.

1. Go to tune window.
2. Select proper set of tune parameters.
3. Start autotune.
4. Save tune file.

Maybe a presentation on why a GCMS system needs tuning would be a better choice.
