hi, ALL,

I am preparing a paper for pulication. Since the caliberation curve copyed from the Analyst Software is not clear. So I need to plot a caliberation curve (linear regression with a weighing factor of 1/x) using EXCEL, anybody know how to apply a weighing factor to a column of data? I couldn't find from the on-line help, is there a function to do it or how to do manual calculation? Thanks a milion.

Looks fairly complicated, but apparently can be done..

Can U mail me ur e-mail id so that i can attach excel sheet for regression calculation.
My id is sandip.gurav@gmail.com

In graduate school, I used the following Excel routine to perform weighted linear least squares.

Instructions are in the file.
