Hello everyone,
I have a problem determining very low concentrations of tert-Dodecylmercaptane (below 1 ppm).
I tried to determine it with normal GC, with Quadrupole-MS-SIM-Mode (but there is not really a specific ion !), I tried CI-MS (M-H = 201), but there is very low abundance !
I also tried to derivate it by silylating and to determine the TMS-Derivate, but there is also too low abundance for concentrations less than 1 ppm.
So if anyone has a method or a further idea for me, I would be very glad.
