Hi All,

We have macros for both acquisition and reporting in Chemstation. How can we import the chemstation macros into Masshuster? Any instruction anywhere? Thank you for your suggestions.

Is the MassHunter running a single quad, eg 5975,5977 or a triple QQQ eg 7000.
If running a single quad , did you purchase the G1701FA package, as this has the familiar Chemstation DA, as well as the Qual and Quant browsers.

As for macros for Qual and Quant, people are waiting for the scripts to be released, (I know I am).

Chemstation,

The Masshunter is running single quad, w GC 7890A+. It did not work when I simply transferred the chemstation macros into Masshunter. I wonder if there is any modification or script needed to make the macro to work in Masshunter. Thank you for your reply.

I think the MSDChemstation macros run using a macro language while I believe Mass Hunter is using HTLM based macros. At least that is what I have found poking around in the software. I have the 7000 so I can't run the MSDChemstation version of data analysis so I don't know if that will still run the old macros or not.

You need to supply more information, as the term "doesn't work" is not helpful
viewtopic.php?t=28821
Q1) Are these macros from GCMS, or are they from a GC or HPLC ( as G2070 (GC / HPLC) macros do not work on G1701 (GCMS))
Q2) What version of Chemstation are the macros being copied from eg G1701C,D or E
Q3) Do you have the G1701FA package.
Q4) Is the Chemstation DA version F installed.
Q5) What directory are you copying the macro to.
Q6) What version of Chemstation are the macros being copied from eg C,D or E
Q7) If so, how are you executing the macro.
Q8) What error messages are being displayed.
Q9) Who wrote the macros, and have you contacted the author.
Q10) Post some screen shots
