Are EtOAc (AR) doing harm to FID detector and the GC system

We are running out of the Ethyl Acetate standard, and we need to make a solvent residue test on Ethyl Acetate urgently. Thus, I wanna to use the AR EtOAc as a reference, as the precision is not the highest priority. Are there anybody here who knows if it will do harm to the GC system?

I know that the precision of the data must be discounted, but I really have no other better ideas now.
Any suggestions?

As you see, I'm a new comer in the GC area. And a lot of my time has been spent in other aspects for my job. Thus the reason I need you all's suggestions so urgently. Thanks again for taking care!

It is highly unlikely that EtoAc will harm any GC column or system.

Ethyl acetate is used as an injection solvent in several GC/MS methods.
