Hi all,
Does any one use Radioactive detector hooked on your HPLC system ..?

with best wishes
Hello

As I assume you mean "radioactivity detector". I used to work with ARC detector (Accurate Radioisotope Counter).
Basically any detector that has "analog signal output" can be connected to software that controls external signal. The only disadvantage is that you control detector from keypad or its controller.

Thanks Tomasz..
We have a Raytest Radioactivity detector which works with Gina Software via a serial COM port. and the Knauer HPLC is controlled and acquires data of UV through ChromGate software through another COM port. and both the softwares work independently.
How about you??/
Do you think it might be possible to integrate the the Radioactivity detector with Chromgate ..?

thanks
Years ago when I worked producing radioiodinated compounds I did... The detector was home made... It was a pig with hole drilled through with plastic tubing run through it with a Geiger Muller Tube sitting on top... (I was dealing with reactions from a few millicuries to about a curie)
