I was wondering if there is any way to intercept the signal from the gc and somehow run it to a computer for display without buying the software that is used to do this. [/b]

You will always need an A/D (analog to digital) interface and a software able to "digest" the data...

There are "cheap" boards and software avaialble around. Check www.datalys.net for some ideas.
