Hi everyone,

Im setting up our SIL-10A (autosampler) with the syringe and wondering if anyone knows where the right (and bottom) tubing go to?

That is, do I leave the right/bottom hole open, or ? Are these going to waste/drain?

The syringe and SIL are connected and communicating properly so no issue there.

The right hand side port is connected to the needle inside the autosampler.

Bottom port , no connection. It is leakage port in case of rotor problem or overpressure.

Correction : the right hand side port is connected to washing solvent.
Other port is already connected to autosampler needle.

Thanks uzman for the reply and correction!

Can I use the same mobile phase (stored in a different bottle) as the 'washing solvent'?

Hello lespaul ,

Recommended washing solvent is iso-propanol but you may use other solvents which is best washing properties for the injected compounds.
