Macro command for plotting integrated EIC

For Agilent DataAnalysis, does anyone know what macro command(s) to use for printing an EIC from a result that shows the integration marks? I need to show the current integration results for target, Q1, and Q2, including when manual integration is used. The INTEGRATE command re-integrates the result according to the integration parameters and overwrites any manual integration. The CHR/EIC commands plot the ion peak but do not show the integration marks. There must be an easy way to do this? I want the integration line to show on my report so it is easy to see that the peak is being integrated properly.

You can dump the integration to the printer from the QEdit window - Graphics Report.

What about the actual code to use to do this? I have created my own custom report but cannot figure out the commands to add to include the integrated peak on my printout. I've sort of had success using MI_USED and the MI commands, but it seems overly complicated as my scaling is all messed up now. Seems like I should just be able to turn the markings on or off.

hmm, thanks but I think I am still missing something. The INTEGRATE command will apply the integration parameters set in the RTE integrator. That works most of the time, but if I manually integrate a peak and then run the macro, the manual integration will be wiped out and the peak will be re-integrated according to the parameters. I guess I thought there would be an easy way to just print the integration as it currently stands in the quant result, manual or not.

well, INTEGRATE command actually relates to the ChemStation integrator, not RTE.
Parameters are located in events.e or alike files. You can change those, or add them directly to your macro, or, as I mentioned, make a smart macro, which will automatically account for various peak abundances.
I designed a macro which automatically integrates any pattern, yielding a reasonable number of peaks regardless of the pattern and peak abundance.

The "cmi" and "mi" commands are used to perform a manual int. The online help will document what syntax and info they need. The getcompound and getresult commands can tell what the variables are.

Thanks for the reply. I have had success using the MI command and variables bl0, bl1,int0, int1 to manually integrate the target peak on the EIC. However, I have not figured out how to do the Q1 or Q2 ions. There are no specific variables that I see listed in GETRESULT that control the integrated baseline of the qualifiers. The q1events$/q2events$ also do not make sense to me.

For Q1 and Q2 you would have had to get the extracted ion current profile (EIC), and then integrated them. These will be in different registers. if you want them to show up in the same window use MERGE to merge the data into one register, and then re-draw (DRAW) the register into whatever window you want to either copy or plot. Since you already edited the data you'll get the edited version without having to reintegrate.

Update: I have figured this out. I am not using the MI_USED funcation at all and instead am only using the MI command to plot every EIC, whether it was manually integrated or not. I was struggling before because the Macro Help function in Data Analysis did not include the specific commands to draw the Q1 and Q2 baselines, only the target. (q1_int0, q1_int1,q1_bl0,q1_bl1). It seems so obvious now, but at the time very confusing. I was able to figure this out by digging into some of the pre-existing macros and tracking down the commands. If anyone else was struggling to do this, let me know and I can explain in more detail.
