TraceFinder not working

Hello,
We have TSQ Quantumâ„¢ Access MAX Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer which we used with Chromeleon and Xcalibur Softwares. We began to used TraceFinder 3.2 but the new software stopped working. It means that after we started to run the first sample the program sent me a message: waiting the contact closer and just jumped to analyze a second sample. That thing will happen for all samples. Has anyone a similar problem? Can be the source of the problem that we installed the Microsoft Office 2007?

Hello

If you installed Office after your software was installed the problem could be with dynamic link libraries (DLL).
When a program uses a DLL, a dependency is created. If another program overwrites and breaks this dependency, the original program may not successfully run.

I would recommend software repair procedure (it should be automatically loaded when you insert CD/DVD with software) - some software's have this option.

The last solution would be software re-installation.
