Hi Everyone,
In determining the life span of the deuterium lamp in the G1314A, Agilent 1100 VWD-UV-Vis detector, I would like to use the information on the lamp energy.
Does anyone know how to retrieve this information using the handheld control module-
At what levels do you think the lamp whould be changed.

Hi,
Don't know about lamp energy details but for 'lamp burn time' follow these instructions:
Starting from the ANALYSIS view, Press VIEWS (F5 on my keypad) and select SYSTEM (ENTER).

Press RECORDS (F4)

Then scroll down to your G1314 module and press EMF. Choose SETUP LIMITS from the mini-menu

The details for the lamp burn time should be available on this page.

Regarding changing the lamp - a few years ago we replaced our lamps at 1000 hours, but these days lamps are more robust and can last up to 2000 hours if you buy decent ones
