Derivatization using Flophemesylamine

I ask the simple question: Has anyone experience with derivatization using Flophemesylamine (= Aminodimethylpentafluorophenylsilane) ?
I wanted to get volatile pentafluorophenyl-dimethylsilyl ethers (and -thioethers) of Dodecanole and Dodecylmercaptane in order to dedicate them with NCI-MS.
I took Acetone als solvent, but no silylation took place (the peak of the analyte was in the Chromatogram again, but no peak of the wanted ether or thioether).
I also tried Ethylacetate and THF as solvents - no silylation !!
Is a catalyst needed for this reaction ? Should I try Flophemesylchloride (better reactivity ?) ?
Hope anyone can help me !
