HI, EVERY ONE,
IS GENERALLY KF (MOISTURE CONTENT) OR LOD MORE FOR ANY PARTICULAR COMPOUND. THIS IS IN GENERAL NOT FOR PARTICULAR COMPOUND. 8)

AND HOW DO YOU JUSTIFY THE SAME..
Karl Fischer titration generally gives a more accurate determination of water content than Loss On Drying technique.

But there are a lot of exceptions due to the chemistry and expertise involved.

One might consider that doing both to confirm each other would be adviseable, unless of course, that is not a possibility.

Loss On Drying values may indicate a decomposition or a loss of some other volatile such as a dissolution solvent remaining in the crystalized solids.

These might not or should not be detected by a KF titration.

There is no easy answer, just a problem which should be solved with as many techniques as possible that helps to ensure the analysis of the material is as accurate as possible.

As i hope,KF of compound will be more since in the stages of API manufacturing , water will be of 2 types used one will be bounded one and other is unbounded one. in case of bounded water KF of the compound will be more :?:
secondly in general for all finished products we determine only KF not LOD .this is because water strength is more. is it correct or any critics :!:

The answer may be KF and LOD.
If you use KF combined with an oven you may get both the unbound water in an oven measurement and the total water in an direct measurement.
