Chloride ion or acetate ion, which one will bind strongest to a polyamine column at a pH value of 5-7?

I think it is acetate ion that will have more binding tendency to stationary phase.

But a pH value in the 5-7 range is above the pKa of acetate. Certainly at pH 7 it will be unionized.

Chloride will be more strongly retained than acetate at any pH on such a phase.

Which one?
