Ok,I am trying to successfully calculate named impurities that have been subtracted from the blank.These impurities are calculated using the main assay peak in the two bracketing stds of the sample set.I have been able to create an correc_area custom field that subtracts from the blank;however,when I go back to my processing method and change in the components my y to correc_area,I still do not get an amount calculated for these impurities.Must I set up another custom calc and how?

In the components tab of your processing method you have a list of peak names. One is the parent and the others are impurity names of some sort (either named or something like Unknown 1 .. Unknown X I would assume).

Have you set the impurities curve reference in that components tab of the processing method? Unless you tell the impurity peaks what to quantify against (parent compound in your case) you will never get any results for them.
