Dear all!

We just got a new 7000qqq agilent MS with masshunter software. I want to ask if here it is possible to make somehow autosim, or this program dont supply it. I am using MSD chemstation too, in that program it is easy to make SIM modes using autosim mode.

Thank u for helping me!

I have not tried autosim on our 7000qqq but if you have a method generated on a single quad with MSDChemstation you can possibly import the method into the MassHunter software. In the Method menu there is the item "Import method components from another method" you might try that if you already have a method developed on another instrument.

If in the data analysis portion you use the MS Quantitation software and make a batch and then use the Method menu and choose "Method-New-New Method from Aquired SIM Data" That will import the data from a sample aquired in SIM mode and auto populate the Analyte names and masses if you entered those into the hardware SIM method parameters. I have used that to get a starting point then just edit in any corrections that need to be made for misidentified peaks or missing qualifiers.
The past is there to guide us into the future, not to dwell in.
Dear James!

Thank u for helping, i hoped it is possible to creat SIM method just like with old chemstations. I will try out importing a little later. :)
