HI, Happy New Year!
my LC method separates my unknown degradants with 40%(HOAc 1%) and 60% MEOH. My UV estimated that my degradants were around 1.5ng for the 10 ul injection.
Because I need to operate the LC/MS myself and I havn't run this before so it will help me if you can let me know your experiences. Do you know if an Esquire 3000 could detect my degradants?
Also I have limited sample and the Resolution for three of them are only 1.2 to 1.5.

Unfortunately there are way too many variables, but from the information you have given I'd say, PROBABLY you will be OK. If you only have 10ul you are almost certainly not going to get an answer from any other technique so unless you want to sit on each peak for a week and do LC-NMR you will just have to suck it and see.

It will depend on the "ionizability" of your analytes. If you can not have then positively or negatively ionized with your source, you will probably won't see them (or you'll see some adduct). Assuming you will be able to ionize them, it will depend on the proton affinity/gas bacisity of your analytes etc...

Typically, you will see some if not all of your compounds and several times some new ones that you miss with your UV because they didn't have a chromophore and/or because you are more sensitive with your MS...
